Connie Hill came to the University of Michigan after playing on the Guelph Ontario Jr. A team and the Copper Cliff Redmen Senior B team.  He played defense for four years under Coach Vic Heyliger.  His most memorable experience was helping Michigan win the first NCAA Championship in 1948.  He scored three goals in Michigan’s 6-4 win over Boston College.  He was a member of the first All-
Tournament Team.  He was captain for three seasons and an All-American selection in 1949.

After graduation from the School of Literature, Science, and the Arts, Connie Hill received an MA degree from Stanford and his PhD from the Iowa State University in Mass Communication.  He served as a professor at a number of universities, including serving as a professor of journalism and advertising at the University of Rhode Island.  Connie Hill passed away 31 August 2001.
