David Roberts, originally from Old Lyme, Connecticut, played for Avon Old Farms before enrolling at the University of Michigan.  He played left wing for Coach Red Berenson from 1990-1993.

He was the season points leader for the hockey team in both his freshman and senior seasons, with fifty-three and sixty-five point seasons respectively.  He ranks fourth among Michigan forwards in career points, with his ninety goals (tied for fifteenth) and 157 assists (third) totaling 247 points.

After graduating from Michigan, David Roberts played for the United States National Team at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway.  He played in the National Hockey League for the St. Louis Blues, Edmonton Oilers, and Vancouver Cancucks, as well as several minor league teams in North America and Europe.  David Roberts works for Sage Hill Capital in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
