Larry Babcock played for the Peterboro Petes Junior A Team before enrolling at the University of Michigan in 1939. He played center for three years, from 1960-1963, and had 41 career goals and 58 career assists. He was a member of Al Renfrew’s first Michigan team to play in the NCAA tournament. Nicknamed the “Puffer”, he was elected captain for his senior year. Larry Babcock graduated from the University of Michigan Business School and received his law degree from Western Ontario University.
